YAY!!
This is how I draw and color eyes.

Another thing is blend blend blend!! I do the whole iris while it's still wet which is hard to show with a picture tutorial. If it dries and doesn't blend properly, don't worry, just go over it again with the lighter color until it looks ok!

Awesome. That's a lot of work (for some people) to color eyes but it really pays off in the end. Very unique.
