Oh man I've got a lot of inspirations! First off, one of mine is you because your art and characters are so colorful and creative!
My inspiration from the beginning is because when I first saw Lilo and Stitch the series, that's when I first started to draw my own characters based off of his style.
Years later I started reading manga and the first manga I ever owned was Bleach volume one. The character design was so unique and I loved the way Kubo drew muscles and the unique features in different races. Also, I like the guro motifs he sneaks in here and there.
Then I watched an anime called FLCL and I thought it was very strange, but I loved it and wanted to see more. That's about the time I decided I wanted to become an animator and do hand-drawn animation. Hiroyuki Imaishi is a very great animation director who is popularly known for his whimsical style in FLCL, Gurren Lagaan, and the new show Kill La Kill.
My animation and character design inspiration: . He's the storyboard artist for Avatar: The Last Airbender, executive producer and character designer of Black Dynamite: The Animated Series, and has done lots of work on The Boondocks. I love his art style so much and he influences my style very heavily. He's also making his own animation series based on his comic book!
My other inspirations for....
Other Beautiful Art:
And of course, all the people I watch! Some have more heavy influences on me than others, but everyone inspires me to do more art even if just a little
Because your characters are soooo cute! And they are simple yet colorful! Plus you're one of the few people in DeviantArt who draws monster boys. Not that there's a problem with monster girls of course, but it's nice to see something different every once in a while. I want to draw more cute things too to add a bit of variety to my style, and your style helps me do that. Keep being kawaii and keep being you .
